The last dealer to Alaska the way we are going is in Alberta—we leave in a couple of days. Are there any RV stores you can recommend in Alaska if we have a problem?

We did it.

Well, we just finished our trip from Camarillo, CA to Mobile, AL to pickup our 2007 23ft Airstream. The was a trip we will remember forever. We did it in 4 1/2 days. I've towed box trailers and fivers before, but this thing towed like a dream. Kinda like everybody said it would.
'Course when I got home I had to wash 8 states worth of bugs off of it. But she cleaned up perty!
Let the camping begin!

Very nice! Congrats on a beautiful FC! I drove for KC to Williamsburg and didn't have one bug, I did however have a thick coat of ice on her! Worth every white knucle mile! Have fun and post pics from your maiden voyage.

Thank you. We went about 4200 miles on that trip. 4 1/2 days. I'm still recovering.
I am also still sitting here staring at the AS and can't believe I finally own one.
Our maiden trip is in about 2 weeks up the coast.

We drove about 1500 miles for the round trip from Middletown, NJ to Bat Cave, NC and back for our Argosy. About 50 miles round trip to Colonial for our Basecamp.

I used to take clean laundry out to the AS - supposedly to fold without our dog's "help" - but really to just to spend more time inside! Enjoy your trip!

Heres an Idea for ya
The wife and I are getting past that toting clothes in and out of the silver dream, each payday she buys a shirt, shorts, underclothes, pants, towels, etc, this way we have one set in the house and one in the camper. No tote back and forth except for the grandkids, they constantly grow so we have to move theirs back and forth, but ours at our age we dont have to worry about it.
