Question Furnace did not turn on

My furnace did not turn on starting last week. It used to work fine. When I turn on the thermostat, the fan works, but the furnace did not turn on, so it just circulate the air. I replaced the filter, but the furnace still did not turn on. The model of our heater is Goodman, only 2.5 years old. Anybody has any suggetion? Where should we start to look? I'm a beginner. Any suggestions are appreciated.

What is your furnace installed on?

I had same thing

The problem was that my converter had been turned off....the batteries drained to a low point where the fans all worked but the furnace would not ignite. Turning on the converter and subsequent battery charge fixed it. Hope this is you problem too.

My furnace was installed in the attic, so it's on the wood floor.

Well, I assume a furnace is a furnace.

Wood floor attic? Well, I guess your not in an Airstream....regardless, check it out. A converter is normally somewhere near where the electricity feeds into the "unit."

It does not appear that Goodman makes furnaces for Airstream Travel Trailers. Rather they make furnaces for residential use. If that is your case it will be difficult for us to assist on this forum as residential units will be natural gas or electric. Airstream furnaces are powered by propane. While similar there are differences. A residential unit will not have a converter as the power will come from 110v AC current from the home and does not need to be converted.

Air Conditioners, (A/C), Packaged Heat Pumps and Central Air Conditioning (AC) Units for Home Healing and Cooling Systems. Residential and Commercial Heating and Cooling Equipment by Goodman Manufacturing available in 14 SEER and 13 SEER ratings for
