Florida prices are of course higher. 2.52 in Starke , 2.39 in Ocala / Belleview.
There is a gas station at the Woodbine exit that is USUALLY about 5-10 cents less than anywhere else in Georgia on I-95. Of course, it has been 7 months since I stopped there...

There are retailers in Minnesota that have E85 at less than $1.50. The governor just got a Suburban than runs on E85.

Last Week
Regular $2.62
Diesel $3.00

This Week
Regular $2.55
Diesel $3.00

People are starting to catch on to the petroleum price schemes,
crude sellers, refiners, wholesale fuel distributors, retailers.
Not very happy in general, I'm all for earning a living,
375% profit in one quarter, I'm not buying that large of a profit margin.

San Luis Obispo, CA.... on US 101 half way between LA and San Francisco. Lowest prices I've seen recently are $2.72 for regular, and $2.65 for regular at Costco. Never thought I'd see the day when I was excited to find gas below $2.70!

Diesel, $2.47.9 at the Flash Food in Lumber City, GA yesterday. (I pulled in between the big boys.)

Gas $2.21.9/$2.231.9/$2.41.9 in Hazelhurst, GA yesterday.

Diesel, back home in Waycross, GA - $2.69.9

I think gas in Hazelhurst would not be at that point if there weren't several chain stores competing for the same customers.

Here in Waycross, only three places sell diesel, so they don't give a hoot about competing, just as I don't give a hoot about trading with any of them. Fortunately my tank is big enough to get me heck out of Dodge ever few weeks.

Max bought regular today at Rolla, MO, for $1.95! Why am I cheering??? That's the first time we've seen less than two dollars plus since forever! It's like a little victory. Diesel here in Mid Mo dropped to its lowest in a long time at 2.519 at most stations. Every little stepdown helps. It just hurts to be old enough to recall the gas wars of the late 50's and 60's and 20 cents a gallon bargains. Sigh

$1.859 per gal.!!

Last night I stopped at exit 29 on I-95 in Georgia. Noticed last week on my way south that the price was below $2.00. Much to my surprise I was heading for the Petro for 1.87 when I noted that the spot next door was $1.859!! Filled it to the very top.
I also took advantage of the truck wash out back and for $23.95 got a complete wash. The 24 hour wash has two lanes and I just drove right in.
Got rid of the Florida limerock I picked up on my road this past week and then it proceeded to rain on me as I moved north, oh well got it clean for a bit.
