nice graph rodney....

may need more room at the top....

over night prices up 20 cents in the now regular is 2.79....

found a diesel pump at 2.52 sinclair....and it is NOT self serve....

first station the area to have biod diesel (b20) will start pumping tomorrow...

and for 2 days price will be 25 cents LESS than standard diesel...

so 2.35 or so......i may try a few gallons....

while taking azfly' advise......

not to drive to hiwayii....

also don't fry with bio-d....

all of the true things that i am about to tell you are shameless lies. l.b.j.

we are here on earth to fart around. don't let anybody tell you any different. k.v.

Keep your heads up...

The sad part here is that even though gas and diesel are closer in price than last gouging episode, they are still bumping up closer to $3 per gallon. It is 105 miles to the nearest semi large city(Lubbock) and about 350 miles to the nearest large city (Dallas to the east and Albuquerque to the west) Also about 300 miles to the nearest camping area that has a tree. I have always thought that based on the mileage to anywhere compared to the price per gallon, europe was still cheaper. Am I way off on that?
cheers, bill b.

For an 'up to date' report for many major cities, you might check out , there you can also find national and local graphs. The prices are 'observed' not 'reported'. What I mean by this is that individuals are reporting these prices just like this thread, it's not the station's advertised price. Our local news has refered many times to AAA's gas pricing site which I have found to be hugely inaccurate. At least in my little world.

I can't give you too many prices, from Manassas, Va to Sprung Leak, NC I saw regular from 2.72 to 2.98 and the good news is diesel was cheaper than regular...again! I paid 2.64 for diesel in Manassas at a comercial fuieling station. But saw prices as high as 2.72 on the way home. Summer travel season is starting so I expect to see prices continue to rise along with oil company profits.

I understand that the price rise here in VA and up to the NE is due to the requirement of switching from MTBE to Ethanol that our friends in DC have inflicted on us. Of course, the switch has to come before there is adequate supply, putting price pressure on an already stressed commodity.

Diesel is anywhere from $2.71 to 3.25 here in SW FL, but it is still lower than regular again . If you think that the price is NOT being manipulated by Big Oil, then I have a nice piece of property (high and dry) that I'de like to sell you in the Everglades

Diesel was 2.899 in Morro Bay, California a few days ago ... now the same station is selling it for 2.99 ... just in time for Easter weekend driving.
