Flooding in New England/Mid-Atlantic area...

I hope everyone up that way is safe and (reasonably) dry... It sounds like there maybe an opportunity to start a cottage industry making floating barges for Airstreams? Can you picture a floating rally, sort of Sausalito style Airstream houseboats? In downtown Washington DC?

On a serious note, if anyone is having problems and need help, I'm sure there are folks here who can help if needed! Best wishes for you all over on the East Coast!

Roger

Floating Rally

Actually saw a floating rally. We were at the New Orleans Airstream Rally in 2001 and some other brand had a rally on a very large barge tied to a pier in downtown New Orleans. We were on the river boat and saw them. Pretty neat!!!

It has been done, at least with Class A motorhomes. I live in New Orleans and the Class A motor holmes would stage at the shopping center near my home to be loaded on a large barge and tied down for a Missippi River Cruise.
Looked like fun.
