Five songs from your iPOD

I know we've got an eclectic group here... (and I'd like some ideas on expanding my music collection)

So how about 5 random selections from your library?

I'll start:

Suo Gan - Ambrosian Junior Choir
As Time Goes By - Jimmy Durante
Wheel of Fortune - Kay Starr
Temptation (7") - New Order
Brandenburg Concerto #1 in F; Allegro - Reinhard Goebel:Musica Antiqua Koln

Collection varies on the mood and the day

Currently on board:
  • Aerosmtih Toys In the Attic
  • Allison Krause Now That I Have Found You
  • Soundtrack "Evita"
  • Creedence Clearwater Revival The Long Road Home
  • Aaron Copeland Fanfare for the Common Man

I have enough music stashed to fill my Ipod (8gig) several times over

About the only music genre I draw the line at is Rap.

I have extensive collections of Big Band, Classical, Rock, Indie, Jazz, Blues and Caribbean.

I'm podless....

But this is a great young artist I have just added to my album collection...

This song is from her "my one and only thrill" album, Sooper collection ck it out.

Interesting bio also...

I forgot about what I have on my Crackberry. FWIW I use the 8830 with a 16gig chip (about 6 months to go before I can upgrade to the new Tour 9630, work requires no cameras!)

Big advantage to the crackberry over the Ipod is the ability to use a Bluetooth stereo headsets

I also have an ancient USB style 2 gig MP3 player that has some stuff on it too, that one lives in my shop and stays plugged up to a set of small speakers.

just five?

just today we listened to :

Jackson Brown: Doctor My Eyes
Johnny Cash: One Piece at a Time
Dwight Yoakum: Streets of Bakersfield
Golden Earring: Radar Love
K.C. & Sunshine Band: Boogie Shoes

Hard not to sing along with Jackson Brown on his songs, even if (like me) you can't carry a tune in a bucket!
