5 songs from the Bowmans ipod, most played list. I am surprised DMB Grux album wasn't all 5 since I put that album on repeat during the whole "polish the Airstream" days:
Ship of Fools - Robert Plant
Fireflies - Owl City
Somewhere Over the Rainbow - IZ
Let's Get it Started - Black Eyed Peas
East Bound and Down - Jerry Reed

I love my IPOD and have a large collection downloaded on mine, about 13GB. I have music from a wide selection of genres including Rock, R&B, Pop, Classical, Country, Bluegrass/Newgrass, Prog Rock, and Jazz.
One feature I love about my IPOD are the Playlists. I'm currently working on my favorite hits from 1960 to 1989. Here are five random hits from my 1965 Playlist that I listened to yesterday:
1. I'll Never Find Another You - The Seekers
2. Five O'Clock World - The Vogues
3. Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers
4. Taste of Honey - Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass
5. Mustang Sally - Wilson Pickett

The first 5 to show up on shuffle on my iPhone:
Billy Idol: Eyes Without A Face
Black Sabbath: Neon Knights
Wilson Phillips: Release Me
David Lee Roth: Yankee Rose
Green Day: 21 Guns
I haven't gotten all my Duran Duran CD's reloaded since iTunes deleted all my old playlists, or this shuffle might have looked a little different.

Some traveling tunes....
They All Went to Mexico - Willie Nelson
On The road Again - Willie Nelson
Boat Drinks - Jimmy Buffett
Magical Mystery Tour - The Beatles
The Long and Winding Road - The Beatles
Have to admit our XmRadio is mostly tuned to Radio Margaritaville...keeps things lively when we're on the road, or when enjoying a Sundowner in camp....

I've got eclectic musical tastes - I really enjoy jazz and groovy latin tunes by Los Amigos Invisibles; all the retro bossa nova stuff like Sergio Mendes and Jobim; acid jazz/downtempo stuff like dZihan & Kamien; and let's not forget the excellent heavy stuff like Metallica and Deftones.... (still trying to convince hubby to bring Guitar Hero on camping trips... )
Anyway, random shuffle, here are the first 5 that I feel like listening to at present (music moods change throughout the day):
Stiff Jazz - dZihan & Kamien
Struttin' With Some Barbecue - Charlie Byrd
Family Reunion - Jill Scott
Guanabara - Marcos Valle
My Own Summer - Deftones

I agree. Last year I really got into the 60s Bossa Nova stuff. My favorite artists are Juan and Astrud Gilberto. My wife hates her stuff, but I absolutely love it.

I think I'm alone in my circle of friends that enjoys this type of music - oh well. Tough on them!
If you like Astrud Gilberto - are you familiar with Rosa Passos?
And Bossacucanova as a more modern influence?
I could go on and on about Brazilian-influenced jazzy bossa nova music...

Not jazzy Bossa Nova but it is Portuguese...."fado" the national music of Portugal.
Mariza is the current Diva.

How can we share all these songs amongst our members? We've all paid for these (most of them anyway) so can't we give them away?
