First 'Born' On Ebay

Mrs. Towdaddy here...
Last night I visited ebay to check out the listings. To my surprise Betty Lou I (2005 Safari 30' BH) was listed there. It gave me a sick feeling to see her being auctioned off. OH MY! It is my hopes that someone will give her a nice new home. Also, that she will continue to many fun adventures. But, it really hurts! If someone from this forum is the winner, please let me know that she went to a good home!

Vickie

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Think of it this way, she was lonely in a lot and now she has the chance to be enjoyed by another family. Chances are the new owners will sign in as new members and you can hear their tales of fun with her.

Thanks 68 Overlander and Brunoffrance for the encouraging words. We put so much of overselves into these trailers that they become almost like part of the family. My head tells me that it is just an object but when it has stood for so much in my life it is hard to let go. I DO hope that I can hear a few of the adventures that she goes on to.

Maybe someone stole your Betty Lou?

Saw a story in the paper this morning. Little Jake went off to college in the big city. Got his laptop and Gameboy stolen.

Mom starts looking at eBay auctions. Sure enough, there is little Jake's Gameboy. Notifies police.

Police bid on it, but lose out at the last second. Mom, however, wins her bid on two of the games listed separately.

Here come the games; sure enough little Jake's name is on the back. So is the name of the thief, printed right on the invoice. Thief coughs up the rest of the goods.

Chalk one up for MOM!

Hi Markdoane,
No it was not stolen. It was traded-in on our new '07 Classic SO 34'. The dealership has it listed. If someone had stolen my AS and I saw it listed on ebay I would be on the phone to the police so FAST! Thankfully this is a more positive ebay listing. Someone is going to get a good deal, Betty Lou I was stored inside during the Michigan winters.
