Finally found one !
After three long months of looking I finally found one for my wife and I........
Sent a deposit today so I guess I could say it will be mine soon I hope.
This one was a gift I'm certain..........I actually called the number two weeks ago and it said it was out of order.
Found the ad again yesterday and a nice man answered and the deal was struck.
Now for a million questions about this model in other areas here.
1. Will my F 250 super duty pull it ?
Please let me know what you think.....

Need more input!
Hi Robbie R & congrats on your "new" baby!
In order to figure out if you can tow your new prize with your F250, need to know what year, engine (gas/diesel), tranny, etc.
Trailer Life provides an online towing guides for the years 1999-2009 - google them & download the PDF for the year of your truck's mfg. You can also call your local Ford dealer with your VIN # & they will look up the towing data specifics for your truck as well.
We pull our 96 34' front kitchen with a 2007 F250 Powerstroke diesel, 3.73 rear end, and have no problems with towing our trailer. Our truck is rated for 12.5 K bumper pull trailer, which is well within our 9500 GVWR of trailer plus gear, bodies, etc.
We also have the split shower/toilet area & really like this configuration.

THATS a deal!!!
Your persistence paid off.
I know the previous owner was sad at the sale. Now, don't waste time. Go get it now!! All I can think of is those folks that had me up till the day I was leaving for the pick up and then sold it to someone else....even though the deal had been made. Grrrrrr!
Your Surper Duty should have no problem.

Thank you all.
My wife says she still does not want to get too excited yet......even though we did send a deposit.
It can not get here soon enough.

Thanks for the comments.
The owner was kind enough to offer to bring it to us.
It should arrive in the next week or so.
I probably won't sleep for a week or so............

Outstanding! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! It's beautiful. The ad said they were selling a Silverado 2500 also, or with it. Makes me think that used to be her TV, Your 250 should be fine. Did you get the equalizer hitch with it? (I didnt read all of the ad! lol) You have a lot more patience than me, I'd have hung up and grabbed the truck keys!
Good News!

Coagulations on your new baby; I know how you feel. We found our Happy (25ft. classic) after much looking on the net. I phoned my husband who was working a 12 hr. shift; and told him to get ready to travel when he got off work. We left Texas the next morning and I drove straight through to Minnesota. We bought our baby ‘Happy’ the morning we arrived and my husband pulled her back home to Texas. We had lost one we were trying to get before because the owner up and sold it out from under us. They don’t last long when they go on the market. Best of luck with your new baby, I know she will bring you happiness.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
She's really a looker! Congratulations, finally! (I hope). If it was anyone but you, I would considerate it a done deal. Your luck is such that it could end up being bought by aliens and exported off-world.
I think that the F-250 is well up to the job.
Keep us posted on your progress.
Brian

I think it was not just luck we missed all those campers.
The couple selling said they were waiting (and praying) for the right people........that must be us.
My wife still won't accept it until it arrives in our driveway.
I am excited to see it in person............

Well done! If you baby it like the previous owners, it will last several lifetimes!
We'll know you took delivery of your AS when your profile is changed from "Currently looking..."

Thank you all again........the owner is supposed to deliver it to us in the next week or so.
I have a 30 amp station and power pole ready for her to sit next to.
I will have to figure out how I'm going to get her turned when I get ready to go camping........that is no big deal I hope.
I made my turn around and backing spot for a 27 ft so I'll probably extend it about 5 ft more.
I just hope my Triton F 250 will pull this thing.........

Send us a couple of photos of your trailer site and surrounding area. Maybe we can come up with a turn around/backing solution.
As to the F-250, it should be able to handle the job.
Do you already have a trailer brake controller and a hitch system?
Brian

Brian, I do have a brake controller. I pulled a 27 ft Mallard camper with my F250 and it handled it well. It was an older model 20 years old so I guess it was pretty heavy.
GVW on my Mallard (89 model) was 7260 I think. (3350 each axle)
I wish I knew the dry weight......
I can not get pics of my turn around right now because I don't have a camera but appreciate the offer to help.
I will just have to make all this work and it may take some figuring.
Thanks for all the help and comments as I need all the help I can get and will be asking for advice for a long time I am sure.
Robbie R.
