I got it on eBay (of course)... but I can't find the listing! Let me see if I can dig something up on McMaster. It was a "kit" that included the rouge bars, and 3 buffing wheels, plus 2 smaller ones... I bet you can buy the parts individually, though... time to do a little research....
Well I just went nuts and ordered my polish kit from same guy...
Like I have time to do that!
I was getting worried about all this money eating a hole in my pocket.
Found some 3/8" plastic wood in black and white...
This is my idea of floor and seats...just an idea at this point.
Mines not built like this, just playing with image

you won't regret it, man! I just did another 2 feet of my bow in 20 minutes. It's pretty rough on polishers, though. Mine just started skipping. When the last one did that, it wasn't long for this aluminum world... I think she's on her last leg. Time to look for a replacement....
I found a great one at Graingers...was really surprised at the price.
A Milwalkee <sp VS buffer.
This was way before ebay, and has lasted many years with only a brush change....polishing lacquer.
Its the one I'm using in photo way back on page 1.
Looks like a big grinder, only much slower.
(you could find one on ebay I bet)

it was a beautiful day here, so I decided to roll the boat out of the basement, do a little polishing on the bow, and clean all the crap off the floor from my polishing exploits with the underside.
Yesterday my cousin came by and flipped the boat with me. I tell ya, I did a better job on this dolly than I thought. I could actually have flipped the boat by myself, but decided not to risk it. Supporting the boat on the dolly with the straps is definitely the ticket.
I also managed to install both rear lights. My boat actually had mounts for 3 staff lights (one in the middle) as well as 2 read lights on the back. Presumably, if this was indeed a FLying Boatment boat, it was for night shows. I'm sticking with just 2. One for the US flag, and one for the UK (we'll switch sides, depending on who's driving...)
She really looks cool next to an Airstream (hence the thread here!) I haven't forgotten about trying to get the little one camp-able by April as well... but I figure, boat first, camper second. We can always hit Hiawassee in the Tradewind...
THis pic really shows the cool texture on the top surfaces. I wish you could still get aluminum that was treated this way. Looks like an acid wash of sorts...
Anyway, Here's a couple of new shots of the transom brace. It's not riveted in place yet, and still has some polishing to go. Just thought I'd show you guys the progress...

Hi guys! Beautiful work. After reading your postings, it looks like we have the same vices. We operate a small vintage trailer, runabout, and outboard restoration shop. We have been at it for about 5 years. We stick to 50's and 60's fiberglass and aluminum, no wood (too much work!). We usually have about a dozen trailers and boats hanging around the place. This is not a sales pitch, just a friendly source for info and parts. We have a fantastic source locally for vintage outboard parts, steering and shift controls. His shop is like a time capsule. It was grandfathers, then his fathers, and now his local boat motor junkyard. His name is Jack at Jims Marine in Urbana OH. I can get you a phone number if you are interested. Great source for NOS, especially your Scott Mccollough. Most of our boats are 50s' finned. We search out and restore the tee nee trailers and match them to the boats. We just finished the paint on a tee nee in the original yellow, and one in aqua to match the 61 aqua and black Tomahawk. We used a 40hp '61 mercury. All this matches our '61 Overlander and '61 Century. We will post pictures after Christmas. We are hoping to match all these up with '61 Chryslers (as soon as we save up enough!). Attached is a photo of our VW pulling our '61 Tomahawk.
Merry Christmas to all- Wally at Wallys' Vintage Trailers, Springfield, OH
