Hello to all the Texas Forum members.

I am in Killeen/Fort Hood for the next nine days and was hoping some forum members would be willing to let me look at their coaches for ideas for my new interior. I know it sounds like a weird request, but driving from the airport to my hotel I saw three vintage airstreams. Texas definately has more airstreams then my area in Missouri.

I will be travelling down to New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Austin while I am here, so if you don't mind showing your coach off please PM me.

If you want to see plenty of Airstreams this week you might try to make it to Wichita Falls where the Region 9 Rally is being held.

Uggg...Witchita Falls.

I spent six months there at Sheppard Air Force Base for some medical training back in 2002. All I remember is that it was hot, flat, and the T-19 trainer jets took off and landed every 90 seconds.

I need to google the distance, but I think that may be tough to get to since I am working 8 PM to 8 AM for the next week.

You're welcome to come look at our '76 Sovereign. Have not changed it since we got last summer, but I do have some small [noninvasive] ideas for the interior. Too bad you missed our '69 Overlander we sold. Had too cool interior-- black/ wht tile floor; black vinyl gauchos; yellow formica; vintage cowboy curtains; and vintage green stripe awning.
