Watched it on the deck of the cabin in the North Georgia mountains. Pretty awesome. We had a total eclipse.

Hi Ray! Nice thread. Witnessed the eclipse from my backyard with friends.

Used my welding hood with a #12 lense.

Joining me were Susan, Mike, Shawn, Laura, Gerard, Jan, and Ed.

I rigged up Ed's and my Canon T4i's with welding lenses.

And we took some good photos:

And Champagne was served:

Anyone planning for 8 April 2024? Totality will be 4 min 28 seconds in parts of Texas.

Best, Burnside

I viewed eclipse only once and surprisingly it wasn't on our road It was in my city, during my working day and I almost forgot about it, fortunately one of my colleagues remined me about it and as a result we viewed it together Even our chief joined to us for a brief time

Camped at the Top of Georgia Airstream Park thanks, folks, for letting us stay and went to nearby Helen to watch it unfold, along with a few thousand other awestruck people.

Peeked via eclipse glasses I got from our local astronomical society.

Here's the view of the shadow show under a pecan tree.
