EBay Scam!!!!!!!

Not sure where to post this but will start here and if someone knows a better place please move or re-post!
We are looking for a 24 or 25 some where between 2000 and 2007.
(we think that price range will work for us) We see an add
in EBay and it looks very good. We text the seller and the item
disappears from "watch list" The seller contacts us and says we can buy
the unit for the buy it now price and the transaction will be carried through
EBay Motors! This sounded a little odd so I called EBay and was told to get the item number! I sent an email to the seller asking for the number
and never heard another word from them. (Prior to this time they had been very prompt to answer)
Just thought posting here might save someone from getting stung!
If it sounds to good to be true it probably IS!!!!
Anyone have a nice unit they would like to sell drop us a line!

When I was looking for our AS I didn't find much on Ebay that interested me. Too much low starting price, high reserve, or too far to go look at. (too old fashioned I guess, I need to kick the tires before I buy). Craigslist worked a lot better for me, I looked at 19 different deals before I finally bought, and yes, two of them were pure scams. The deal you are looking for is probably out there, just be cautious and don't get in a hurry. Watch the Airforums, there are many good tips on what to watch for and how to buy. Ask questions, there is no such thing as a dumb question (some of those dumb answers can be killers). Good luck!
