How wonderful that you've been able to build one for each grandchild. They will surely treasure them for years to come.
My father wasn't really a woodworker but the wanted to be, and he did build one cradle 27 years ago for a neice. Since then it's been used for two other grandchildren, and is currently being used on a fifth great-grandchild. All of the kids would have love one to pass down .

Aww - what a cutie! I love the little mittens he's got.

My father-in-law built a beautiful wooden cradle for my kids - we weren't able to use it for a very long time, but it's a labour of love that's going to be passed down to future generations.

Good for you and congrats!
