Well - sort of...Thanks to richinny for the suggestion on my entry into the world of Rivet Mastery with my 500th post (each one seemingly less informative than the one before....) :-)

The official drink of the Tin Goat is Jack and Diet Coke (or Jack and Cherry Coke Zero - don't judge). What's yours?

Congratulations! Tin Goat? We used to raise goats.
I won't have a Jack and coke, but I will drink a beer or several

Almost anything with the word "Bacardi" on the label...
Congratulations on #500.

And for all you aspiring Rivet Masters, a tip - reply to yourself often. You'll get there faster...
:-)

We haven't done them yet in the Tin Goat, but a shared official drink has to be the Sazerac. Not the best source of info, but you can find more here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sazerac

First sampled a few years ago (3 years B.A.) at Jazzfest in New Orleans with dear friends who grew up there. If camping at or near Jazzfest is a possibility, we'll definitely go back again! Real bucket list experience for us. The Sazerac is the official cocktail of New Orleans and it's pretty fantastic!

Here's the Tin Goat - it's what we call our Airstream (we call the truck the Freedom Machine) and our tin goat mascot goes wherever we go.

Any favorite beers, dkrug?

I love your tin goat! We had 150 Angora goats at one point. Now we have a very few head of cattle.
I am ashamed of the beer I drink now. I am older and watching the calories. I drink a water claiming to be beer.

SteveSueMac, how the heck do you drive around Connecticut? My sister and her family lived in CT for quite a few years. We took our trailer out there once. Some of those tiny, windy roads are difficult.
They bought a 38' SOB and had it delivered to our house because they had to figure out where to store it.

I'm a fan of those charged cans of Guinness or Murphy's stout - should probably be drinking water-beer though :-)

On an early trip, some fellow campers were apparently partying with our mascot one night as this is how we found her in the morning:

Very, very carefully :-)

We've had a couple tight squeezes on some roads I wish I knew about in advance since I'd have avoided them. We just take it slow. It's a zen kind of thing :-)
