I wish I could like beer...or wine...I keep trying them and trying them...never enjoy...

But after 2 or 3 the next ones taste better somehow.

Jameson whiskey and gingerale, with a squeeze of fresh lime, is our favorite mixed drink.

Doug otherwise prefers a good beer, me a small bit of riesling or white zinfandel.

Occasionally, a bottle of Proecco from Trader Joe's.

To quote one of my heroes, "I feel sorry for people who don't drink, when they get up in the morning that is as good as they are going to feel all day long."

.....Dean Martin

I raise my Tanqueray and Tonic for 500. Congrats.

Thumbs up

Believe it or not...

A flashback to fulfilling times.

Consider it...a good cause.

Whatever you prefer - it was your suggestion! :-)

Edit: that was supposed to be a quoted response to Richinny who boiled it down to diet coke :-)

Don't know why the quoting failed :-/

Ok, Maggie - Jameson & ginger - sounds good! We love Trader Joes wines and Prosecco too! I saved a pic someone posted recently of a Veuve Cliquot airstream :snark!:

Worthy of supporting! Thank God for Jarheads and their wine!

Which reminds me - Ben Franklin is often misquoted on this concept for beer, but here's the actual quote:

Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine, a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy.
