Brad, good idea. I magnafied Wheels' first picture a thousand times (a very rough estimate, I don't really know how much), and this is what I saw of the little planet in the 8:00 position.

I tried to get a pic at peak, but couldn't find the moon in the viewfinder; too much "noise" in the camera.

Thanks for the great pics everyone! I forgot about the planets and Space Station though.

Cleveland!! That White Cross service league of Ohio has real out reach. Wouldn't have thought for a moment that you'd be able to see the facilities that clearly.

Thank goodness it wasn't that cold here in CT! It was about 27F. Here it is after the total phase in rebirth. I could not help wondering how the population of earth felt when this type of event happened say 1500 years ago.

Dateline....1465
After the Bible, the next best selling book is the Witch's Hammer; a how-to book for the rooting out, torture, and burning of witches.

…and Mrs. Slowsky, after watching the moon disappear before her eyes, says to Mr. B. Slowsky, “I told you to bury that cat feet down! now look at the mess we’re in!”

Wow, PICTURES!
My view of the total eclipse of the moon here in Las Cruces, was obscured by clouds.

Thanks for the pics!

Are you guys crazy? I went out to see the eclipse and there was no moon at all. Just like the last time.

It never cleared for us last night - had a little unexpected snow to boot.

Thanks so much for the pix.

One of them looked like it could have come from the Huckabee campaign...

Hey those are great. You and I should have made an eclipse party and weathered the night with a fortified warm beverage.

Kind of cool when you think about everyone standing outside looking at the moon at the same time.

Thanks to all who posted great pics! I never did get any good ones, but it was fun to stand outside and watch for a bit.

Here in North central Ohio in between breaks in the clouds the views were fantastic. Just as all of your photos depict. Over the course of a few hours I must have stepped outside a dozen times for a couple minutes at a time. Temps in the mid teens here. The colors were some of the best I've ever seen for a lunar eclipse.

I think we did have a party. Albeit virtual...we partied together apart.

Thanks for the pics!

Wheel Interested, it is amazing to see Cleveland. That cross must be bright!
