Briges
Hi all ,
Yes bridges bug me especialy the one with holes in them and metal florring. They are on the way to Alaska. There were 6 of them but during last 4 years they poured concrete on most of them and cowered the holes. The onle one that is left is at Destruction Bay Yukon. It is long and lots of holes The worst part is when some fool wants to pass on the bridge becouse you are doing the speed limit and he is in the hurry to get somewhere. You will see them on the next pull out cleaning out his pants or walking the dog. It is amazing when the passer get to the same campground 30 minutes afer you. Regards from sunny Tucson Az.

Do bridges bother you?
Nope, as long as some idiot doesn't try to run me off of it.

It is a 180 degree panograph of a bridge. Imagine looking through your legs upsidedown at the other half of the bridge.

It is a panograph, perhaps made with Photoshop. But the process is to take several pictures and stitch them together to frm one new image. I have been playing with this for some time now. Got the bug from 65GT.
As an example, here is another panograph I took recently in France.
But I don't want to hijack this thread.

Beautiful photographs. Bridges don't normally bother me...but that one would, especially pulling a trailer! I wonder what the wind is like up there?

Unless that valley channels the wind, it would be much like standing on a 900 foot hilltop. Your A/S would likely do very nicely...

I didn't know what to call it, but I kind of knew what it was. I especially like the panograph of the interior of the Cathedral in Chartres. Great job.

My wife thinks I'm a sicko but I love bridges. I really enjoy driving and even walking over them. I get a bit butterfly'ish in the stomach which I get a kick out of when they are really high or the wind is blowing. I've only had one scare when someone tried to pass coming at us and but for two of us slamming on our brakes and the weasel trying to pass nailing the gas we'd of all had a drink that day. I must admit, that one slowed me down on bridges for a while.
These are great pictures of the bridge.
