Destruction of an Airstream!

Look for a TV commercial for a PS2 game. Something about a tractor beam. Some kids are out in a field testing out a new "tractor beam." Things start flying towards it from across this large field. Guess what comes flying and rolling across the field? Yep, an Airstream. Rolling and rolling. It was awesome, except for the fact that it looks like they really did destroy an AS.

Very bizarre. I checked out the PS2 sites to see if there was a copy of the commercials. I couldn't find it. It may be too new, as this is the first time I ever saw this commercial.

Wow, can't wait to see that. I doubt they really used an AS though, computer graphics are so advanced now, a lot of the time you just can't tell what's real anymore. I watched the intro movie on my XBox Need For Speed game a half dozen times trying to decide if parts of it were real or graphics (it's all graphics).

That poor AS in Dallas though, that's for real The things people do for art!

yep, it was an AS, a early sixties or late fifties model. Had to be real, there was way to much detail in the frame and underbelly. I was impressed that the shell stayed attached to the floor the way it was rolling. I say it watching "Matrix" on TBS last week.
