You are.
I can almost hear the vultures circling, though...

It is hard to laugh in the face of such tragedy. As I mentioned, the farm down the road was completely destroyed, and the damage was unbelievable. I did not feel comfortable looking for the owner as the residents were still digging out from the debris.

But I am waiting for Andy to say "new axles and your good to go!"

Yes, the storms have been bad here. That was about 80 miles away.

Congratulations on living on the moon. You need to update your profile, it says California.

Seriously, they happen just about everywhere, for example see: Tornado History Project - Tornado Map

If it makes you feel any better, also take a look here: UALR Arkansas Earthquake Center - Home Page - Public Earthquake Information, School Resources, Business Continuity, Government Policy, Engineerng Design, Seismic Research

Ok, we do get more tornadoes than earthquakes, but our last big one was impressive: 1812 New Madrid earthquake - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Churchbells rang as far away as New York and Boston. The Mississippi River ran backwards for 10-24 hours to fill the newly formed Reelfoot Lake. We are past due.

I think we'll keep the tornadoes.

Now, those parts are only about 80 miles away...

Unhappy Wow

Ouch! Knowing how tornados operate, it probably hailed just before it blew everything around. Hope the poor folks had good insurance.

Do you know why bagpipe players walk while playing?
To get away from the noise...

Scavenger-an organism that typically feeds on refuse or carrion
Cannibals - one that eats the flesh of its own kind
Carrion - dead and putrefying flesh; also : flesh unfit for food

From the "Floods of Florida" to the "Tornado's of Arkasas"

Then we look at photo's of people at "Wal-Mart."

Looking closely at the pictures there were old WBCCI numbers ending in 24 - and the skin looked like it had recently been polished - not mirror, but like the original brushed surface. I've seen the polishers in Helena Ohio do that kind of restoration.

I'm surprised that the windows weren't broken, perhaps they are lexan replacements. Other than having tanks that aren't shined, it looks like like a very well cared for unit.

Know any forum members in the neighborhood?

Paula
