Dear Santa 2005

Dear Santa,

I'm sorry that an entire year has passed since my last letter to you, but I have been very, very busy.

Santa, I have been thinking about how hard you and the elves work and so I only have one thing on my Christmas list this year....I would like a new tow vehicle. Now, I know that this might be a little to bulky to fit in the sleigh and even harder to fit down the chimney so I thought that a gift certificate might be practical. The reindeer will surely appreciate the paper alternative - it won't weigh down the sleigh as much.

I have narrowed down my choices to 2 vehicles, a Mercedes Van or a cute little Nissan Pathfinder and I guess that it would be OK for you to choose for me. I know that you will make a great decision. Any color is OK - just not to dark please - the sun gets really hot where I live.

Santa, I have been very, very good this year and so I hope you can find time to work on my gift. I have been towing with a little tiny ford explorer with a stick shift and V-6. Have you ever had an under-powered sleigh? If so then you know what I'm talking about. My Airstream friends all tell me that I need to upgrade and I guess they're probably right.

Say hi to the Missus and give the reindeer some extra rations. I hope you all have a joyous season and a well deserved rest after the holidays.

Love and kisses,

Thumbs up Thanks Santa!!

Santa, Thank you again for another year of good health for family and friends. We especially thank you for the safe arrival of our first grandchild, a boy, Liam , and what a joy he is. Thank you for the retirement for me and we are here in Tampa and not north freezing, no offense to you but we like snow for Christmas and then it can leave. We will be home for Christmas in Ontario and the only thing I ask for is, safe arrival for us there and having family and friends together for the Holidays.. Safe journey Santa.. Love Annie

Dear Santa,

Thanks so much for the early Christmas present and bringing DSL out to our neck of the woods. They say it was the phone company who ran the new lines, but I know it was you. Thanks for making the early run out here to bring it to us - now I can look at all the pictures on the internet (but I promise I'll only look at the nice ones, and not the naughty ones)

Yes, John, there will always be a Santa Claus. Just send three-fifty to the PO Box in my profile and I'll ship you the guarded Cosmolene formula ....

Looks like your dreaming is in synch with your awake life!

Dear Santa, My daughter still thanks you for her birthday present she got in June...the new Airstream. Now for Christmas I could really use a good idea on what kind of flooring to put in the new rig.

I could also use a new air conditioner...like someone else said...a gift card to N. Dallas RV would work also. I have been very good this year..I promise.

Wouldn't a Basecamp make a rockin' sleigh for the jolly-man himself?

In Austria you got chosen to see St. Nick or?????

As mentioned, in Austria you got chosen a near the head of the line as to if you got to see 'Mr Jolly" or if you got to see the 'Other'. Do not recall all the differences off hand, but several were apparent - Mr. Other had a lot of kids already coming from Santa then meeting his "Other' brood - All bone Cowshead with horns, A long furry costume ( likely matching the cow) and a black beard and black floor length coat. When he did 'give' you a treat at all, they gave you hard licorice. His job was to 'scare' the be*rappers out of the ones that could go either way.

Santa was of course always the HUGE winner but several kids got a really big wakeup call when they saw that there is ACTUALLY a person that fullfils that responsebility, every year!

All I want for Xmas is my 2 front teeth!

My daughter asked me to post this since me have not yet had a chance to get the Christmas out and on it's way to the North Pole. So we have done the second best thing I know of. Post it here.

All Annika wants for Christmas is here 2 front teeth.

What a great, innocent kid request!?!??? Nice to see.

Axel

BTW - Will report if all works as planned. Fingers Crossed.
