Ouch - that's horrible. I am always amazed that companies that survive on customer sales are so casual about how they treat those customers!

For heaven sakes don't order a D--- Computer that needs any service. Not only do they want money up front to talk to you but you can't tell what language they're talking to you in. And forget it if you have a problem with your cell phone bill or equipment. It's Customer No-Service, not Customer Service. I think some companies are getting the message because of slumping sales. Now I'm hearing advertising that talks about their wait for service being shortened and their representatives speaking english.

Boy, you wanna get my goat just try answering the phone while you're waiting on me in person!! I've taken to walking out of businesses and then calling their corporate offices to explain.
I sell for a living...my phone is never answered if I'm with a customer. I tell all my new clients this and let them know that I return calls while enroute to my next stop.
If you take the time to do business with me you get my undivided attention.
That said if you wish to contact a USA based business from a long way away I suggest using email for economy and ask for a direct - no hold contact number. Any business wanting yours will understand this request... or not and then demonstrate not being worthy of yours....
Sorry to rant but you did get me started... just go about your business and ignore me.... it's o.k.

You're a nicer guy than I am. After holding about two minutes, I would be calling a competitor to place my order.

Hi Glen,

I'm so glad to hear that you take this position as a person in business. There is indeed a lot of businessess that display a total lack of consideration, respect and etiquette when it comes to serving the customers.
