Cousin's brand new SOB....

Our cousin just took possesion of a brand new 37 foot fifth wheel with four (!) slideouts and a fireplace. (Curb weight is only twelve thousand pounds! LOL!!!! They have it out for the first time this weekend. We were supposed to join them, but my falling backwards over some wood in the shop yard.... well..... tomorrow is time enough!
I had promised to fix pot roast for all of us, and thankfully, had it in the crock pot before i got clumsy. I didn't think they needed to make dinner while trying to get familiar with, and settle into their new unit.
John called and told me where to find the key as they had to make (yet) another home run for something forgotten.
So we went in and plugged in the crock pot, and waited. Joh called and said to check it out, look around and which we would have done with much more pleasure but..... it was COLD in there.
Long story short... it is supposed to be in the very low thirties tonight. Ummm ummm ummm. Thirty degrees and no furnace. And a brand new SOB!!
Oh man! Better them than me! VBG!!

Yes, it is cold out in the ol' (new?) silver tube tonight. I'm stocking the silver lady for a run to Trempeleau and Blue Mound S.P.'s in Wisconsin. We're passing prime color here, so I am looking forward to the nice temps and colors forecast further south.

No furnace? Do you mean it is just not turned on?? Does the fireplace burn plastic or aluminum logs?

We really liked Backbone State Park just east of you after we picked up our trailer last month!

Oh, it has a furnace.... it just doesn't work! The only heat (other than John & Vicki's tempers!) is from that gas fireplace.... the furnace comes on, then clicks off... won't stay running long enough to warm the unit! Oy!

I guess in their case, SOB has a dual meaning.

Does their A/C have a heat strip? It might make it a little more comfy for them...
