Corvette Ultravan - A fine restoration project

A friend set this to me and suggested it would make a nice winter project:

eBay Motors: Other Makes : Ultravan (item 170203543268 end time Mar-27-08 18:10:44 PDT)

Perhaps I need to reconsider the friendship?

Does your friend owe you money that would not have to be repaid if you met your demise?

If you look at it real quick, it kinda looks like an Argosy motorhome.

Don't forget to squint with the other eye, and hop up and down on one foot. Looks pretty good when you do that... It looks even better in the dark.

Here's one of my two favorite Ultravans:

I can't find a pic of my other favorite one right off the bat, but it had the spare tire carrier on the front (as a lot of them do) and had it painted like a big red clown nose. It is great!

I saw this one at a TCT rally. It was Corvair powered, you could tell by the oil spill under the engine. They also had a Corvair powered motorcycle.
