i confess

I just got two boxes of them for Christmas. To make them authentic, I'll have to break every little front window and take years be successful putting them back in...

Just be glad they're not the Corning frameless ones.

Oops!
I forgot to confess about the lights with the nash rambler.
Got those at camping world.
I also have a scale model of our 63 that Terry got me from a hobby store, and several magnets, key chains, etc. Not to mention the tablecloth and cloth napkins.
I won't deny an addiction, and NO I don't want a cure.

Good point. I could break and replace all of the front windows on the light set more quickly than the one on my trailer!

You just have to break the window?

Man, my bulbs went out and I ended up having to remove all the plastic rivets on the bottom (the hidden ones were a real bear)....
Then, I made tiny little sawhorses to put the shell on after removing it from the plastic base with a tiny plastic block & tackle hoist I rigged up (that took six days)....
Then, I found out the only replacement bulb(s) came from Airstreamlamps of Taiwan and it took ten weeks for them to arrive.....
Now after using special Airstream super glue I have it all back together and discovered........

A leak!
