COMMAND HOOKS /Odd discovery
How did I ever survive before command hooks? Boy do they make it easy to "test hang" pictures, mirrors, paper towel racks, etc. During the recent cold snap I wanted to add some coverage to my skylight, fans, etc. so I simply stuck the tiny clear hooks to the corners, cut some fleece and bound the edges, then popped eyelets into the corners and hooked them to the command hooks. Didn't think it would help that much, but noticed it was 3 degrees warmer withing 15 minutes. Next... curtain liners.
While I was cocooned I watched TV (I know - owned the trailer for six months and just turned the TV on for the first time). Odd thing was that every time I tried to turn one TV on, they BOTH came on and sometimes the channels changed on both sets when I changed them on one. I thought it was weird but after a few minutes I realized it was those bare aluminum interior walls! If I'm careful where I aim the remote it only affects one set - otherwise I have to close the curtains between the bedroom and the living room to affect only one set. Of course it IS rather ridiculous to have two TV's in one 25 foot trailer.
Odd week... glad it's turned warmer!
Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.
