I saw another Pierce Arrow that had been converted into a tow truck for sixty or seventy years and then converted back to a regular car, If you could call a Pierce Arrow a regular car! What an amazing car for it's time.

The Pierce Arrow was built in Buffalo, NY. The plant was semi-abandoned when I lived in Buffalo in the '70's and I probably crossing paths with Bob Cross, but not knowing it. There was an experimental theater in one building. I went to one play by Ionesco and it was really, really strange. Some small companies were in the plant, but most of it was empty. It was a maze of buildings, brick I think. Today it would be turned into condos and shopping, but I don't know if it's still there. Still wondering how they turned that thing.
