Christmas Lights

Musical choice is a shame, but the lights are kind of cool:

I created this show for a New England Unit Rally.

Here is the original thread.

I have an improved version in the works.

I sure wish I had been at Aluminations to have seen it live but even on youtube it is a delight and grand wizardry. Great job Keith. Aluminations revisited should be a big affair with promises of this light show. Thanks for posting it.

I saw this in person and loved both the music and the lights. A top notch job!

Didn't mean to offend, but I'm afraid I really don't care for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Please don't think I was offended, I don't care for TSO all that much myself. It is just that "Wizards in Winter" was the perfect piece for this project, for many reasons. It maintains a rigidly constant tempo thoughout, a necessity for my hardware based design (no software or computer control). It has melody line that lends itself well to "back and forth" type sequence animations. It ends very climactically which adds a dramatic ending to the show.

That, and the fact that I shamelessly copied the original idea and choreography, made the show possible.
