Ok, I'm chating early. I have a question. I have an Argosy and I want to seal around all the windows outside and inside if necessary. I also am replacing two vents on the roof. I know about the two sealants everyone recommends; however, they do not come in anything but aluminum color. Is there something people use on the tan Argosy or should I just carefully use the silver ones. I am more interested in quality than fashion, so I will use what is best. Is it possible to paint over the V and P products recommended on the forum?

good question juel

i would think that the "standard" vulkem would be the thing to use.

as for painting it, perhaps some of our other argosy members could chime in.

Well John, it seems as if we are the only ones here. Thank you for your input. I ordered vulkem. I would wait for 8:00 central time, BUT I get up at 4:30AM and will probably be asleep by then. I would love to watch the Westminster dog show since I have shown there myself when I was traveling in my AS Caravel and showing dogs professionally, but that probably won't happen. Being old and an RN takes it's toll on a body. And I don't even drink or smoke! Judy OH BY THE WAY, WE HAVE A FOOTBALL TEAM HERE IN OKLAHOMA!

I ordered it, but it isn't here yet. I spent last week-end working on the Argosy. I'm repainting the lettering on the ends and sides by hand. I posted a picture of my new sofa and paint job on here in my photo gallery. So I have to go to the "chat" at the top to chat? I didn't know that. No wonder I thought you were all alone every Tuesday. I don't think I can make it till 8:00, but I'll try. What should I take the old caulk out with around my windows. What kind of a tool is best to use. Judy

Attempted to join the chat but got an error message about Java not found. Will have to see if I can run that to ground and install. BTW I am running Konqueror browser on a Linux OS.

I've tried to post two different threads earlier this evening and each time I was told that I had previously posted the thread about 5 minutes previously. What gives??? This is the first time I've ever had this message.
