Tried Mozilla, Konqueror, and Epiphany still get same error message about needing Java. Have Java activated but no go. :-( Also attempted to get a chat program that is available on Linux. Thanks for the suggestion and I will keep attmepting to find out why I can't join in the chat.

The chat section is open 24X7 if you want to try after changing settings you need not wait until chat night.
Sorry I cannot help on the application issues, but thought that knowing the system is always available might be a good thing.

Thanks, wasn't aware of that. I will continue to look for the problem and test as new ideas come to mind.

Hi, Marty and I have just returned from our first adventure in our new airstream. We live in Alaska and have to store her in Auburn, Washinton. We fell in love with her and with the folks we met at Ocean City, Oregon. We learned much from our new friends and hope to meet up with them in the fall. I have been reading these threads and have dreamed of the day when we would take possession of our new unit. We have decided to name our new home away from home "JUNEAU SILVER" OR "junoslvr" I think the SLVR is short for silver.
We only spent two weeks in the trailer, but enjoyed every moment of it. We ordered this unit site unseen and after reading these threads sometimes I felt uneasy about what we might find.
The trailer is lovely. I felt very comfortable in it. Oops, except the mattress--that will have to go. I never had a good nights sleep -- I asked what kind of mattress they put in the unit. I was assured it was the best....well it is NOT THE BEST! I think, Airstream whould take a look at upgrading that or they need to pluck some more chickens (or whatever).
So, far it appears to the repairs needed are minor. We will take care of them when we return this fall. We encountered a winter storm on the coast and there were a number of newbe's out and they needs were spending a fair amount of time at the dryers.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. Tell you how happy we are with our new AirStream. Hope to see you on the road one day.
