Changing SIU Bound name to something New
I have decided to change my profile name because I want to include my wife. She is the other half of this team. I am going to try to figure out how to do that. I hope it is allowed in this forum. The new name will be Brian & Adrienne

An administrator can do that for you. Contact either CanoeStream, azflycaster or Janet.

A good short name could maybe be Briadri, or Briad.

Brian,
I have sent you a PM regarding the name change.
I would suggest that your wife get her own account. That way she could buy you a new Airstream, post lots of pictures on the forums and then surprise you with it.
Didn't this just happen?

My wife named our property Lothlorian (home of the wood elves in Lord of the Rings). Our airstreams main purpose is to give us a place to stay while we develop our retirement property (Lothlorian) into a functional nursery garden.
Thanks
Brian

Brian (and Adrienne), if you change your name, how will you know where you're bound?

Regarding Name Changes:
I have noticed a few members that change forum name somehow get a small little notice under their new name on/in the posting header. This is good. It helps to eliminate confusion occasionally.
I think common sense and good management of a forum of our size should dictate that this be done by default if the software would allow it. If not then it should be done by rule by the admins or mods.
If not under the name in the header, it should at least be noted in the User CP or Profile page.
Assuming that the forum management disagrees with this suggestion, or ignores it without reply, I would hope that name-changers would notate the old to new name changes somehow in their signatures.
