I know that, in the future, we will share unspeakable names for each other ... but, till then, I was thinking she really fits the nickname Silver Olive... Olive for short. Would it be bad luck to start calling her Olive? I don't need any extra bad luck! Or that is, WE don't need any....

How to do a name change

There are several rites that you can use depending on your religious beliefs, or you can take the secular approach. I you choose that one it is fairly easy to do. Start by removing everything that was not put in trailer by the manfacturer; that includes any marking or numbers. Once that is done the trailer must be completely cleaned inside and out. Then you give the trailer it new name and attach that new name to some part of the trailer. If lighting does not strike you afterwards then the name change was successful.

Hmmm... Richard...

Every boat re-naming ceremony I've ever attended has involved large quantities of alcohol... at least I think I remember drinking there...

Name Change

Alcohol is apart of most rites but is optional. As to Sex, as Robby the Robot stated "The question is totally without meaning." However they do have personalities and most people can feel that the first time to see the trailer.

I changed the name of my boat from "Miss Lillie" to "Frayed Knot" based solely on my mother's refusal to board. She was afraid people would think she was Miss Lilly.
