Camping days gone by...
Doing a little "Spring Cleaning" and came across a box of old photos. These are pictures from back in the 60's when our family camped on Lake Huron in Ontario Canada. Thought I'd share them with you all.....
The last picture is a postcard from Boiler Beach in Kincardine Ontario circa 1965.

Come on up to Drummond Island. We are north of you folks in Windsor (birthplace of my mom). The township park on the island looks just like your pictures. Lot's of trees on the water with minimal facilities (some sites have electricity). We also have a full service RV park on the water with a great views of the bay. (H&H Resort) Costs about $30.00 for the ferry but you only pay one way. We will be back for the summer to cold otherwise.

I love your pics. In 65 I was a jr. in high school. The Beatles were hot. Someone bought the 65 22' Safari that my wife & I are currently restoring. It was a "Very Good Year".

That's funny.... made me laugh right out loud!! My parents and my little brother would go winter camping as often as they could. The trailer was a good 4 hour drive from home, so there were always weather issues.
