Thank you all for watching the Wanderer go on ebay. What a bittersweet experience. She sure was a little QT. We are on our way with the 68 Safari (to the frame) and on our way back up! Man, oh man, the gunk under the black water tank.... All ya can do is put on some gloves and get busy! Our 71 Globetrotter is ready to roll, so it's not all work and no play. It sure is tight quarters in the "Bambi" size. I can't wait to hit the road again! Lookin for a 50's Safari/Globetrotter next......Anyone got one that needs more work than they wanna do. My plan, keep on fixin' em til I get my dream stream! See ya in Sarasota!

It must have been hard to let the '54 go. But look at the bright side. There is now a new member of the Airstream Society. Make sure that you clue the new owner into th ese Forums.

It would be interesting to know where the Wanderer is going in Colorado. There are several active members across the state.

I'd love to follow your refurb of the Safari--I've been looking for a 22' for 6 years and a 60s model since I saw the beauties at the International...OMG, where did another one go?...last year. Post photos!
