I'm sitting here, in the warmth of our living room, watching the snow fall in West Texas; we have 2" so far. It's one of the things I really miss about living in Maryland. San Angelo doesn't have any snow plow trucks, so it'll be interesting to see how many vehicles have spun off the road....most of the trucks here are only 2wd too.

I'm jealous, you have more snow than we do right now! We have just a skiff of snow on the ground from last night. We're at 15 degrees F right now though. Maybe it's warm somewhere else?

You do realize this is just part of Global Warming.

We don't have snow here in New Jersey anymore so our plows should be up for sale soon.

We barely got a dinghy amount of snow in Minnesota. Can't even make a snowball.

18 degrees in NM

It may be cold there, but it is a dry cold.

We got only about five inches of the dreaded white stuff from this storm, but it has been cold. It was -20F this morning. That's about right for this time of the year (a matter quite apart from whether we enjoy that temperature!).

17 above right now. I'll continue the Minnesota report -- we got a pram of snow overnight. You can see it on the limb right behind this guy...

He flew up about half an hour ago as I was browsing the forums. Picture quality isn't super but it works -- digital camera put to the eyepiece of a binocular.

GlobalWarming-POV

Genesis 8:22 has a great commentary on "Global Warming"

Maybe the God of creation allowed the melting of the polar ice
for use to provide rain for the growing world population. Job 38:22

Perhaps the "tweakers" of the scientific/political group wants to alter
our behaviour in the use and consumption of fossil fuels - I don't take
notice that they are slowing the Airstream Community down much(if any).

I notice every winter folks mocking global warming and wanting
to kill a certain GroundHog.

Just a couple of thoughts

The current definition of Politically Correctness.

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Rivet No more hot-button political comments, please

Knew I shoulda just re-titled this thread 'Weather Report' this morning. It's old title of 'Global What?' was bound to draw what it has. One post was trimmed early this morning. I'm not all fired up to snip everything as long as y'all cut it out.

From our community rules at the bottom of each and every page (link is there even if you aren't logged on):

Off-topic is one thing. The no politics policy has been in place for 5 years and built a stronger sense of community in my opinion.

I take you back to Wally Jr's birthday already in progress...
