Thanks for the thread and info. We've had (Cardinal) problems with truck side mirrors in past years. We just about done polishing and thinking maybe we should put an owl on duty before a problem starts with the A/S. I think we have a plastic hawk somewhere also.

Get a couple of Mylar balloons at a party store and set them out near your trailer. They will go away. (that BB gun thing was funny)

Cheapest and easiest method of all:

Go online and find a scowling human face, preferably with teeth showing and direct eye contact. Print it out life-sized in black and white. Put it in a plastic sheet protector if it will be exposed to rain. Tape it near the object the bird is attacking.

I had nightmarish problems this month with cardinals attacking my patio mirrors, every day for weeks. Bird blood and feces splattered everywhere. I have canvas curtains on the patio - I pulled the curtains closed, and they still snuck under the hems at the bottoms, to continue the assault.

Then I put up a couple of these, and the problem instantly vanished:
