Question Bike rack

Hello all, my wife and I plan on making some trips where we will not bring airstream along but want to bring our bikes. I think best option is to put them on a hitch carrier rack but I don't know which is best as a brand/type... any experience? Hitch Bike Rack - Hitch Mounted Bike Racks

Thanks!

Most are of good quality like Yakima and Thule. But look for one that when it folds down you can keep the bikes on it like this one. Yakima Racks & Carriers › Shop › Bike › Hitch › SwingDaddy (2" receivers only)

or get one that the wheels go in a rack for full suspension mountain bikes.

The link leads me to another forum. Thanks for the advice I'll look around for Yakima.

Standard 4 Bike Rack 2" Trailer Hitches - Swagman Original Swagman Hitch Bike Racks,RV and Motorhome Bike Racks S64400

I've had one of these for about 100 years. (OK, every bit of 20) It is welded, where this one is bolted together. It's heavy, but bulletproof. I used on the back of my old SOB as well as in the truck receiver. No complaints.

2012 Thule 916XTR T2 Hitch Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Platform Hitch Rack Holds 2 Bikes

Got this one because my wife has a ladies frame and could not hang on other style of rack. I also received an additional 10% of with an ORS on-line coupon.

My bike rack that I use on my Interstate is a Swagman XTC Cross-Country 2-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25 and 2-Inch Receiver). It folds up nicely for storage when I'm not using it, and when it's in place and the bikes are removed, the center post folds fown for tailgate access.

Have you considered the Fiamma Bike Rack that Airstream had them develop for Airstream rear bumper attachment, fits all the way back to the 1969m body.
