Glad to hear you had a successful trip. Thanks for the great photos. Big Bend is one of those places that keeps me busy with my camera, too.

I'll be headed out there around the first of February for the Pioneer Reunion in the park and the annual trail ride at Stillwell's.

Going to have to call your '10 point buck', "Waldo"...I found him after a few minutes...won't divulge where, so others can seek him out...

BB looks like a great place to explore and could probably keep you 'busy' for weeks in the outback!

Just another reason to spend our 'vacation' $'s here at home, where there's more to see than meets the eye...

We spent Thanksgiving there a few years back, boondocked at the Rio Grande Village. Awesome place!

Looks like Rio Grande Village campground if you want some big trees go on over to cottonwood cg near castalion

Yes, that was Rio Grande Village. Terrific if you are prepared to boondock, 30 feet from the river. We brought water with us and had a generator to recharge the batteries in the morning; deep fried a whole turkey and all the fixings.

There are mud baths there - we did not go, but they are supposed to be terrific.
