Bettye and me

Well then ok...my wife Betty Jean put me a bad position last night. She got in a serious fight out at the bowling alley. It seems she got upset about some idiot trying to sing a George Strait song in the karaoke bar. She testified that he sounded like Rod Stewart without a throat lozenge so after a 12 pack of Pabst she attempted to whup him. At 119 lbs on her side and 275 on him, it did NOT turn out well. When she got home later that night she went into the Airstream to wash the blood off. She turned on the vent fan over the stove and because of the beer neglected to turn it off. Our banty rooster Octo somehow jumped on the counter and got sucked into it. When i found him this morning he had lost a few feathers but was otherwise pretty ok. So i put some some screen wire over the vent to avoid that ever happening again. BTW...Betty Jean has sworn of bowling and now is committed to The Avett Brothers. Life is good. This weekend we plan to drive the Stream 800 miles just to get some non-Vietnamse catfish. Thank you and may all of your dreams turn out to be false. And thats what I did to my motorhome today.

C'mon y'all...i just felt it was time to lighten up. every rv forum is nothing, for the most part, but problems and complaints. this is supposed to be about fun. i mean c'mon you are driving a livestock trailer or a mobile home on wheels. think of a double wide behind a dodge dually on the interstate. that would be a Prevost. They are all built to break. If not, there would be be no Good Sams, Coachnet, Camping World, Dometic and the list goes on and on. This is not a hobby...its a major industry even in hard times. Just take it REAL slow up until you die and then taper off.

Great imagination. Thanks for the entertainment. You have a writing skill that I surely lack.

Complaining IS fun!

Something I learned from watching action/adventure movies: The ONLY difference between a disaster and an adventure is whether you survive to tell the story. So, telling people about the rotten time you've had is what turns a disaster into an adventure. Someday, when we're older and grayer, we'll look back on all these things we compained about and laugh.

The other thing I learned from watching action/adventure movies: Plan A never works, so why even have one? Your FIRST plan should be Plan B. Saves a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on Plan A.

Fan Brand

Would it be possible for you to share the brand name of your exhaust fan with us? The one installed in most Airstreams is not that efficient.
