Thumbs up

Now it's your turn...

Life in reverse By George Carlin

"The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends.
I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time.
What do you get at the end of it?
A death.
What's that, a bonus?
I think the life cycle is all backwards.
You should die first; get it out of the way.
Then you live in an old age home.
You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch,
you go to work.
You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You drink alcohol, you party,
you get ready for high school.
You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb,
You spend your last nine months floating...
Then you finish off as an orgasm."

"Sticks & stones can break your bones...and hail will dent your Airstream"

So when is this..."old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Congradulations on your retirement, Richard.

I'm right behind you, Richard. Only 67 more work days and I'm hitching up myself, starting out with the Cajun Heritage Caravan in mid-March. I absolutely cannot wait!!!

I agree... retirement is but a distant light in a long tunnel for me.

Most retired guys that I talk to say they have never been busier in their whole life?

Boy...has Vinnie got that right. You now embark on a very busy time.

Congrats! Keep us posted on your travels. That way us "non-retired" folks can see what we have to look forward to!
