Been a cold expensive winter

Well up here in the Great White North (Canada eh!) we're patiently waiting for the cold to let up.

Been shopping online for goodies for the trailer and they're stacking up in the garage waiting to go in.

So far: a pair of Zipdee chairs, oxygenics shower head, Honda eu1000 genny, water accumulator, sewer solution, extension cord, BAL wheel lock, new floor in trailer courtesy dealer plus some other odds and ends waiting to get installed.

The tow vehicle got some goodies too, chip, new exhaust, Bilstein shocks, better fuel system, new Nav/stereo, tool box, turbo temp monitor.

Looking at this in black and white, I think I'll wait on a new tv..haha

We've made some reservations in PEI and NB for the summer.

Now if only the summer would come...

Same here, Keene and Saranac Lake. Last year I was there it got down to 40 below. Used to snow shoe in to the camps to shovel off the roofs. Step out of the snow shoes and you were up to your waist in snow.

Maritime resident of the Great White North.

Bracing for another storm tomorrow, on the heels of Sundays storm (less than predicted, only 15cm). Another 15cm snow tomorrow mixed with 20 m's rain and freezing rain. Oh, joy!
Snowbanks are so high, my 10 year old Flowering Crab tree is disappearing. Unfortunately, so is the fire hydrant marker. Driving is a nightmare and intersections have become a game of chance.

Wish I was a winter person!
