'Bearstream' My 55 Safari in a painting

My friend, Marilynn Mason used my 55 Safari as a model in one of her paintings. She does whimsical paintings of bears doing human things in an early 20th century vintage illustrator style. She started with a vintage canned ham trailer in the painting. I told her that she should use an Airstream and call it Bearstream. Haha. I gave her this photo of my Safari and she painted it in over the canned ham. The painting is not quite finished yet, but since this is the Airforums, I figured people would like to see the unfinished version.

Tee hee! Cute!

She could license the image to Airstream.

That is just GREAT, maybe I could twist her arm to paint a 'BearStream Classic Motorhome"??? Sure she tends to stay with Vintage, rather than current though. Thanks for a great photo. Derek

I googled Marilynn Mason. There are a few websites that show her paintings. I will try to include a link. I don't know if she will do any more Airstream paintings. She also seems to be slowing down on the bear paintings. She has done the bears for many years and I think that her passion is Native American portraits now. It took her almost a year to finish Bearstream. I'm glad you all are enjoying it.

Here is a link

WOW! I wish she had these in a book. I found 2 pages of her bear series Bear Series I am definitely a fan. Love the soft colors and detail but most of all love that the bears are out and doing everything and where I wish I were. I thoroughly enjoyed looking through her paintings and the emotions her art evokes. I would expect to see some of her other series such as western art and native American on the walls of Wall Drug. Amazing. Thanks Wheelerimage.
