One of my favorite movies........I must have seen this movie 3 or 4 times before my A/S purchase - just recently saw it again and realized that there is an Airstream in it! One of the colorful characters in this movie uses it as an artist's loft.
What's your favorite movie that has an Airstream in it?

To answer the question ... not a movie but a Music Video.

My quess would be the early 1980's I fell in love with
airstreams when one was featured in the Cyndi Lauper Video
for Time after Time. Anyone remember that?? Anyone have it?

Post Airstreams in movies

I believe there is an Airstream in the movie called "Swingers" (1996) and it was not about wife-swapping!! It was about cool guys in LA romantically coveting the "young ladies" who they referred to as "beautiful babies". It was actually quite funny and had people in it who've gone on to become stars like Heather Graham and Vince Vaughn. I think there was a seduction scene in an Airstream. Mick Martin's video guide called it "a crash course in 1990's dating protocol" and a "hilarious ensemble piece". It is rated R for language. (Don't watch it is you are offended by the 'F'-word!

There is also something resembling an Airstream on the outside in Charlie's Angels (2001) and it gets blown to bits.

Question featured

I wished I could remember the 'title' but, the one I remember the most was; A/S used as a command post chasing crooks..It gets disconnected from the tow and, goes rolling off into the field~ "every A/S'er nightmare~!!

A Perfect World

I think that's the one you are thinking about. It has Kevin Costner in one of his best roles to date.
Yes - the pride of the chasing authority was an Airstream mobile command center, towed by a Ford Pickup, I believe.

Airstreams in movies

X-FILES 1st season, 2nd episode FALLEN ANGELS has a waayyyy cool high tech tricked out Airstream that they go into. We were watching it on DVD and it was kinda like David Duchovny was walking in the door!!! ( To my horror and Marlo's delight)
