Waow....

Waow...

What a model... Sure it's a very superb car and i think it'ld fit well with my A/S... but I think my future wife (we 'll get married in 2 weeks at the daytona bike week...) will not aggree with me to buy another american toy, and a collectible one too !
Today, our vehicle parc is composed with:
The Airstream 27'
the Ford F150 ext cab
the Harley Davidson Héritage softail
the Harley Davidson Sportster
the Ford "Transit "( European Econoline )
the Mercedes "Vito "(small sprinter )
and finally a Smart cabriolet.
And we live in an apartment in town center...

Do you think it's reasonable to buy this jewel?

Bruno.

Get married....

Hi melody ranch
the collectible car is now at $29000 .... so I haven't made bids but it 's always curious to see lot of bidder to increase the price , a long time before the finish... May be sellers' friend that help him ....
Yes, thank you for your congratulations, we wanted to get married in USA ( As i supose you know, we are very american for frenches ); Not Las Vegas, not hawaii ( I've seen Honolulu pictures and I didn't like ) so my future wife says : why not daytona as we are HD bikers and it's the place we decide to go. I think it'll be great and we have to go to the french consulate at Miami to confirm it...

Bruno.

Bruno,

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Gosh, I live on the continent and I've not made it to Daytona yet. I'd better get my butt in gear and put our Airstream to good use. It seems to me that rounding out your collection with another collector car would be the proper thing to do , but then again that would mean you'd need another to keep it company and pretty soon you'd have to move to America - which isn't necessarily a bad thing either .

Barry

Thank you for the congratulations....
I really appreciate them and I'm really happy to do that in your country and it's an honour for me to make this act in USA. It' s a first step to be really an american and I don't despair of being it, one day.... that's an other story...

For the collectible car, here is the link on Ebay FRANCE:
eBay Motors: Chrysler : New Yorker (item 320082876366 end time Feb-24-07 15:35:07 PST)

see if the model worth the price... the reserve price is not met!

Bruno.

Hi there;
curiously, the auction was ended without winners, in spite of the numbers of bids at the beginning... Ebay has some suprises, very or not very difficult to understand; I'm convinced that the first bids are made by sellers' friends to help him to sell at a good price... Or why doing that at the beginning of the auction and not waiting the last minute ?
Certainly, we 'ld know that with Airstream auctions too when the seller want to get a good price for his trailer... he asks to some friends to bid and if no one else make better bids, he can stops the auction at the last minute...

Bruno.
