Avast! Come to an' prepare ta be boarded

Ahoy me Heartys. Greetin’s and Solicitations to ye this fine day. I be hoping ye all ‘ave ‘ad a fine time a cruising this season. We ‘ave logged many a trip a sailing the Seas o’ Cheese an’ Corn. Had a fine adventure or two an’ picked up many a rare treasure an’ bit o’ booty.
The Land Yacht be sportin’ a new galley on foredeck an’ the First mate be pleased wit’ ‘er new accommodations.
Speakin’ o’ decks, yur Ol’ Cap’n Grey Beard was a wounded in the eternal fight agin’ rotten decks.
‘Twas by Cap’n Ted’s Port o’ Call a decking ‘is new rig. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f394...arm-43583.html
A squall rose up 2 points ta starboard, rain an’ a lightnin’ lashin’ the hull. Wit’ nary a piece o’ riggin’ ta grasp I went a sunder twix the beams an’ ribs.
Now the dower ol’ sawbones says I dare not be a making merry on this, of all fine days, an' ta be icin’ it.
Now your Ol’ Cap’n taint used to ‘avin’ ice in ‘is medicinal grog, but I be a wagerin’ I kin find a liquid treatment made to the doc’s order.
So I be a sitting wit me Parrot Sam on me shoulder, watching the footballers a knocking heads an’ a kicking butt wit’ me wench a caterin’ to me needs. So 'ave no pity fer me my mates. 'Tis a pirates life for me.
‘Till I spy ye a cruisin’ or raisin’ a flagon o rum wit’ ye in port I says Fair Seas and an’ a Fresh Breeze to ye all.

Cap’n Grey Beard

Argh!! Me be thankin' ye for the reminder! 'tis my favorite language - me and me mates were just talking of visitin' Tortuga and how it seems to be harder to get oneself there due to new rules. Argh - if it's not in the "code" we not be followin' it.

Hoist the colors!

Ahoy all ye Land Yacht captíns and fellow travelers.
Tis TLAP Day yet agin. If in ye be unawares tis the 10th Anniversaaarry o this fine Day.

Aye, tis bean a peculiar season for a crusin. Dry as th desert an hot as Hades this summer.
Picked up a pair o stowaways on one trip. The scurvy blithers took up in me bilge, coming out in the dark o night, chewing up me wenches vittles an a leaving little calling cards. Took a fortnight to prod the little scallywags out and dispatch Ďem to a place more suited ta th vermin they was.
How the winds be a shifting to the North an thar be a few more trips ta be entered in th log.
By the high tide an full moon we be a castin off in a bit for seas ta the West. So, til our paths cross an we raise a flagon o grog ta toast our good fortune I say to ye. Smooth sailin wit a fair wind at yer back an a grand treasure in yer sights.

By your leave,
Ol Captín Grey Beard

Aye, Cap'n Tom

Ifn yer land yacht be comin' my way ye better be wavin' the right colors or ye jest might find a shot cross yer hitch! Best be 'memberin' the West ain't wild fer nuttin! Leave them 4-legged blighters ashore - we don't care too much fer furriners...

But, get ye here 'fore dusk and the grog'll be out and yer tankard'll be filled! And, don't be worryin' 'bout scurvy - we got limes!

Watch yer wake...

Cap'n Davey

Ahoy all ye Land Yacht Captíns an a fellow travelers.
Tis I, Captín Grey Beard a wishin ye a fine Talk Like a Pirate day.

Been a year since weíve parlayed an I hope ye ave ad many a fine adventure.
Me an the crew ave ad a grand season a crusiní. Well.... truth be told the first trip froze the balls offa me brass monkey.
Met me a new skipper from the Pacific what had the misfortune to dock amidst th fleet from the Sea o Cheese. Seems his favorite team of footballers was ta be a matchiní up wit th ruffians from the Bay o Green. A quick wit an practiced tongue spared im a walkin the plank. After hoistin a few pints o the local brew all the ruffled feathers was smoothed an it twas back to swappin lies an tall tales.

So we be making a few more trips then be tyin off for th winter. We may still cross paths so Iíll keep a weather eye for ye.

Olí Captín Grey Beard, First Mate Sue an Sam the Crazy Parrot bid ye smooth seas an fair sailing. Aarrrgh.
