Ahoy me Heartys.  Greetin’s and Solicitations to ye this fine day. I be hoping ye all ‘ave ‘ad a fine time a cruising this season. We ‘ave logged many a trip a sailing the Seas o’ Cheese an’ Corn. Had a fine adventure or two an’ picked up many a rare treasure an’ bit o’ booty. 
The Land Yacht be sportin’ a new galley on foredeck an’ the First mate be pleased wit’ ‘er new accommodations.
Speakin’ o’ decks, yur Ol’ Cap’n Grey Beard was a wounded in the eternal fight agin’ rotten decks.

Now your Ol’ Cap’n taint used to ‘avin’ ice in ‘is medicinal grog, but I be a wagerin’ I kin find a liquid treatment made to the doc’s order. 
So I be a sitting wit me Parrot Sam on me shoulder, watching the footballers a knocking heads an’ a kicking butt wit’ me wench a caterin’ to me needs. So 'ave no pity fer me my mates. 'Tis a pirates life for me.

Me an th crew hope ye ave ad a fine season a crusin wit yer Land Yachts.
Me an the wench ave just set anchor in our home port af’er a crusin the Hawkeye state.
We rendezvoused with Cap’n Mike an a sheltered in a fine tree lined lagoon in th Sea o Corn. Met up wit Ol Cap’n Jim. A Salty dog he be lads. We lifted a glass, filled our gullets an told many a tale o high seas, booty plundered an battles won whilst a crusin from Sea t’ Sea.
Spent days a gazin upon the sights, samplin the local grog an victuals, an nights putin away pints, warmin th ol bones by th fire an playin draughts.

Ahoy all ye Land Yacht capt’ns and fellow travelers.
Tis TLAP Day yet agin. If in ye be unawares tis the 10th Anniversaaarry o this fine Day.
Aye, tis bean a peculiar season for a crusin. Dry as th desert an hot as Hades this summer. 
Picked up a pair o stowaways on one trip. The scurvy blithers took up in me bilge, coming out in the dark o night, chewing up me wenches vittles an a leaving little calling cards. Took a fortnight to prod the little scallywags out and dispatch ‘em to a place more suited ta th vermin they was.
How the winds be a shifting to the North an thar be a few more trips ta be entered in th log.
By the high tide an full moon we be a castin off in a bit for seas ta the West. So, til our paths cross an we raise a flagon o grog ta toast our good fortune I say to ye. Smooth sailin wit a fair wind at yer back an a grand treasure in yer sights.
