I just don't understand how people can be posting at dawn (unless dawn is at 4 am) because that's the best time to sleep. Yeh, it's calm and beautiful out, but I've experienced it once and one dawn is like all the rest. But the night—that's when things are happening (except I seem to start yawning at 10 pm instead of 2 am like I used to). So now I almost always wake up around 3 and sometimes start looking at the Forum. I should be PM'ing Bob then. But by 4 am, it's time to go to bed again. It's like getting to sleep twice a night and then consider a nap too.

Is Bob crazy? That's a different question. In this asylum we're all normal.

Crazy, NO....I may be on here at any hour of the day or night. After a camping trip, I have to log on to see what I have missed.

Are you crazy

That's the internet... this is all their fault. They should have warned us that members such as I, who live in New Brunswick, Canada, (borders Maine) am sending this at 9:42 P.M., our time, will be viewed by those living in California at 5:42 P.M.

Good luck Australia.

I work 24 hour shifts so I am on the forums 24/7. I usually refresh my user CP once an hour, and hit the portal every few.

Ok, I have a good excuse today. I just got a stent put in to help prolong function with my heart that needs to be replaced...these hospital beds are not very comfy! My wife is sleeping in the bed while I am on the laptop checking things out.

Cheers to all!

Addicted To AIRFORUMS

I, too, am addicted to the Forums. I can't seem to get enough Airstream, even though we are out in Lucy a lot (125 nights a year). SuEllyn teases me about being a "Forums Head" and having to consort with the other "Forums Heads".

I will admit that I'm hooked. I go to great lengths to be on-line while traveling in Lucy. I tell myself that I do this to be able to fill Moose Tags orders, but that is only partially true. I also need to on-line to be able to see what is going on in the airforums world.

My name is Brian and I am an airforumsaholic.

I too am an airforumsaholic. I find myself being drawn to the computer so I can check the forums.I was a total computer newbie when I found this forum .Now I can post pics and find my way around the forums and other sites for needed supplies and inspiration.

Thank god there are others to talk to about this addiction....

It all started so innocently, a little social thing once in awhile in the evenings. Then one day I though, oh what the heck, why not have a break and have a quick one at lunch? I thought I had it under control until I noticed lunch time was rolling right into dinnertime. Tried to nip it in the bud and get it back to not a touch until 5 PM. Well, that unraveled rapidly and I found myself dropping in for a quick nip more and more often. And the excuses I came up with! I hate to tell you I even considered making up things that went wrong just to have a reason to stop by. Oh the guilt. Then one night I kept at it until the light of dawn was hinting it's way through the curtains. Strangely though, a new thought came upon me. People who are coming on right now are all fresh from a good night's sleep, their answers to my electrically soggy questions are clear as a bell. Maybe this is a good thing. Why not just stop in here whenever I feel like it and stay on as long as I want? Do I really give a damn what the neighbors think?

Carol

I have to take a shower and eat something before we go out. Not much time to do all that, but having just washed the truck and the Airstream, I'm kind of tired and achy and maybe checking the Forum will let me relax…

Steve - I'm retired, so I'm on the Forums most all day and a good bit of the night, between naps . Can't sleep? Go check the Forums. Too hot/cold to work outside? Check the Forums. Can't find a good John Wayne or Randolph Scott movie on the tube? Check the Forums. My SO asking "Are you on the Forums AGAIN?? Check the Forums. I use the "I'm learning!!" reasoning. She doesn't beileve me, but she doesn't ask anymore either.

Thumbing thru the Forums keeps the tiny gray cells busy, but gets expensive when you jump overboard into the vintage end of it. Oh well, the kid doesn't deserve it all anyway. "Camping" at the Poor House in your Airstream at least has that touch of class to it, if they have 3-point hookups that is.
