I wouldn't know, my brain is stuck in the Forum, all I'm aware is the chit-chat in the background.

Count me in

My computer time starts at 11PM EST. You'll see all the closet crazies by looking at the post times of their replies.

Why not? It sounds like you'll soon be able to pick up GM products on eBay!

I spend a lot of time upgrading/repairing hardware and software at work in the middle of the night. If your phones go out after midnight, it's because me the gang got caught up in the latest hot topic here. Yeah, that's it, that's what happened Monday night.

When I first joined the Forums, I'd spend hours at a time reading through one single thread or another. I'd stay up until 2 or 3 AM some nights, poring over the tiniest details. Those were, of course, the major renovation threads, and I see several of the authors and/or participants of those threads on this thread, so I'm blaming all of you for my craziness.

These days I spend so much time on my own major renovation, I don't have as much time to read about all of yours. But don't worry, I'm still following, and by the way, you slow-pokes need to get back to work! I posted an update today, did YOU???

Friday night turned into Saturday morning.

Hi, well it seems that this crazyness is more intense on week ends. Maybe these are the forum members that still have to work for a living. I started out tonight [Friday] and it suddenly without notice became [Saturday] morning. Right now it is about 1:30 AM and I'm going to shut this computer down, get some sleep, so I can join you again tonight.

ARE YOU CRAZY?

Actually I'm always on, because I don't sign-off when I close my laptop. So it would look like I never go to bed.

I hate people who are always telling me how early they get up in the morning when I've been snoozing long past daybreak. I just tell them I put in a hard night's work till 3 or 4AM reading or perusing the forums and ask them if they have the stamina required to stay up that late. Usually shuts them up. Besides, you can get more things done at night. The phone doesn't ring, people don't come over, you aren't thinking, "Boy, I should get outside and enjoy this nice weather." Heck, even the dogs aren't begging you to go out for a walk because they are sacked out sound asleep.

I am just starting to peak around 10PM, sometimes start elaborate dinners at midnight, can stay up all night to work on a painting and often keep reading a good book until that gray light of dawn is creeping in the windows. Put my head on the pillow then and I am out in less than two seconds. None of that worrying about, oh am I ever going to fall asleep?

The water wings of my dreams start rising me back up to the surface about 11 AM, I put on the coffee, feed the dogs, sit down at the computer and there you all are, sitting around my breakfast table, bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready to give me all the news I really think is necessary to start the day.

Crazy, hell no, I am on a strict schedule and I intend to stick with it..........

Carol

Between chronic back pain from jumping out of airplanes and intermittent insomnia from deployments, I have a hard time going to sleep, so after Brooke goes to bed, I like to peruse the forum. Sometimes Brooke wakes up and tiptoes into the living room to see what I'm doing...I guess she thinks I'm looking at something I'm not supposed to. She then asks, "Are you going to stay on all night on that thing? You've been on all day!" I smile and say, "I'll be right there, dear".

Sometimes I think she'd rather I look at things I'm not supposed to.
