Are Those RV Covers Any Protection at All Against Hail Damage ??

Has anyone found those fabric RV Covers any help preventing Hail Damage ?

Have you found them to be worthwhile in preventing oxidation ?

No. If you want to avoid hail damage, you will have to have something more substantial to protect you aluminum beauty. I now have mine under an aluminum trailerport (carport) structure.

I was in a hail storm once that had golf ball size hard hail. It was a horrible experience. Everything with soft metal got dented, like car tops, could'nt hear a thing and could have been killed if I went outside. Only a garage would protect a AS from such a pounding. I still have a hard time believing how everything was pounded down, like all the plants in the garden and broken limbs off small trees.

Here is a simular thread and if you read it you may not want to use a cloth cover for your AS.
