Apology

Today I posted a replay to a post that I wish I had not, after a long day at work. Thank you moderators for removing it. I wish I had not hit the submit icon. I'm sorry to all, and will not to do it again.

Thanks
Kip

Personally, I thought your post was well tempered and well deserved. The one that followed yours was also. The only apology in my opinion should have come from the other direction. However, I admire a man who steps up when he feels it's needed...

Aerowood,
I didn't think your post was out of line given the circumstances, but we all must live with our own set of standards. If I contributed to something that made you violate those standards, I too must apologise - to you.
I have always enjoyed your posts, and as I stated in one of today's posts - you are a wealth of information that we often rely on.

Everyone gets overexcited, or says something they wish they hadn't (the first time I said "I do" comes to mind).
If we wanted cold hard facts, we would just enter all this info into a database, and search it out when needed. But how much fun would that be?

Richard,

The problem with that is that my brain doesn't kick into gear until about 302 people have just read what I posted. Oops! Then I try to correct it and another brain burp. My wife says it's an age thing - and once I get a bit more age under my somewhat prodigious belt I'll get smarter.

Ah well, fortunately it only happens once a year, and everyone just laughs, ignores it, or ribs me through PM's. That's the best part of a civil forum like this. People realize we are all just people.

Barry

If that were true, I'd have become a genius about 20 years ago...
